What each candle raw material is for

POSISION is a candle making supplies wholesale source and candle wax raw materials supplier that runs its own factory in Henan, China, in business since 2002. Sixteen product lines move through the plant — seven wax families, candle making supplies and containers, reed diffuser components, candles in kits, jars and finished form — backed by in-house R&D and quality control, batch COAs, and an export desk that answers RFQs within 24 hours. Free samples ship with the batch COA; MOQs are flexible. Start with the line that matches what you import.

Sixteen product lines under one factory roof

Soy wax — pure soy fine granules, 58 °C

Soy wax is the base of the range: pure soy in fine granules, melted and poured for container candles and pillar candles. It is supplied in bulk as a base wax for brands that formulate their own blends. Details and order options are on the bulk soy wax page.

Sand wax — natural plant wax pearls, no melting, no wick

Sand wax is a natural plant wax formed into pearl granules. It needs no melting and no wick: pour it into vases and decorative holders as a wickless fill that can be refreshed without heat. It handles and ships like dry granules. See the sand wax page for the full picture.

Jelly wax — transparent gel for layering and embedding

Jelly wax pours as a clear, transparent gel, which makes it the material for layered colour work and for embedding decorative objects inside the candle. Colours are built up pour by pour, and inclusions stay visible through the body of the candle. The jelly wax page covers what is available.

Reed diffusers — base liquid, finished units, custom bottles

Reed diffuser orders start with custom glass bottles from 150 ml and a MOQ from 100 pieces per bottle type. We supply the reed diffuser base, blend custom fragrance oils to your scent brief, add natural reed sticks, and take the job as far as fully finished, private labelled units. Base liquid, filling, labelling and packaging fit in one RFQ, so the whole diffuser range is consolidated with one factory.

Candle making kits — the retail-ready box

Candle kits are the finished-goods line: soy wax portioned for the container, a cotton wick sized to it, a tin or jar, optional fragrance and printed step-by-step instructions in one box. Labels, outer boxes and instruction cards carry your brand, and the contents are built to your retail price point — for Etsy sellers, workshops, retailers, subscription boxes and gift programmes. See the candle making kits page for the details.

Colored candle sand — granulated wax for layered colour

Colored candle sand is plant wax granulated into fine grains and coloured through the batch, so it is poured cold into layers, glass fills and craft kits rather than melted. It is the grade to specify when colour and layering are the product; the plain pearl bead sold as a vase refill stays on the sand wax page. Details are on the colored candle sand page.

Beeswax pellets — white and yellow grades

Beeswax pellets are pure beeswax in a free-flowing granule, supplied in white and yellow. Beeswax sets firmer than soy or palm wax, which is why it carries pillar, moulded and dipped candles and why it is added to softer waxes to firm the body. See the beeswax pellets page.

Pearl candle wax — suspended and lamp candles

Pearl candle wax is the scented granule grade behind suspended and lamp-style candles, where the pearls are the visible fill in a holder or bowl and stay where they are placed. It is the same granule family as sand wax, specified around the holder and bought by weight for event and hospitality programmes. The pearl candle wax page covers it.

Private label scented candles — finished and boxed

Private label scented candles arrive finished: soy wax poured into your jar, wicked and tested, labelled under your brand and boxed, with the fragrance compounded to your brief. It is the line for brands that want to sell the candle rather than make it. The private label scented candles page covers it.

Floating candles — for vases, bowls and event tables

Floating candles are cast as a low round disc so they stay upright on water, which is what makes them work in a vase, a bowl or a table centre. Supplied in bulk for weddings, hotels and event programmes. See the floating candles page.

Scented wax melts — fragrance without a flame

Scented wax melts carry fragrance in solid wax for a warmer, with no wick and no flame, and a fragrance load a poured candle cannot match. Supplied in retail clamshell packs or in bulk PVC boxes. The scented wax melts page covers the format.

Coconut apricot wax — the creamy container base

Coconut apricot wax is a plant-wax blend of coconut and apricot wax, supplied in flakes for container candles that have to set to a smooth surface and hold their fragrance. It is the base most often sampled against soy before a brand settles on a wax. See the coconut apricot wax page.

Cotton candle wicks — plain or pre-tabbed

Cotton candle wicks come flat-braided in bulk bags, either as long lengths to cut on your own line or pre-crimped onto metal sustainer tabs in 100-piece packs with a centering device. The wick is matched to your container diameter, wax base and fragrance load rather than bought as a standard part. See the cotton candle wicks page.

Glass candle jars and vases — the container the candle is built around

Empty clear glass cylinders and vases in the heights our candle lines use, plus amber glass with metal lids for private label work and a 250 ml relief-pattern container. The jar sets the wick and the fill weight, so it is specified before the wax. See the glass candle jars page.

Candle dye and pigment — colour in two forms

Oil-soluble liquid dye in 32 colours for sampling and small runs, and flake pigment in 34 colours for production batches that have to repeat the same shade. Both are matched against an approved sample rather than a colour name. See the candle dye and pigment page.

Silicone candle molds — cast and 3D shapes

Reusable silicone molds for bubble, geometric, textured and 3D cast candles, supplied alongside the wax and the wick the same candle needs. Silicone flexes, so undercut shapes release cleanly and no release agent is required. See the silicone candle molds page.

FAQ

Sourcing our catalogue: common questions

How many product lines do you supply?

16 — from bulk candle wax to wicks, glass jars, moulds, dye, reed diffusers, candle-making kits and finished candles. Each line has its own page with format notes and MOQ guidance.

Which wax suits which product?

Soy suits poured container candles, sand wax suits refillable vase candles, jelly wax suits display and gift lines with embeds, and beeswax suits premium moulded and pillar work. Our wax comparison guide walks through the decision.

Is the MOQ the same across every line?

No. MOQ is set per product and project, and is quoted against your volume rather than published as one number for the whole catalogue.

Do you work with small candle businesses?

Yes. Small first orders are a normal starting point — the usual sequence is free samples with COA first, a trial order second, then scale.
